Who we are

ClaimsDraft is a document drafting service operated by Blaspsoft Ltd. Our website is claimsdraft.co.uk. You can contact us at hello@claimsdraft.co.uk.

We are registered as a data controller with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Registration number: ZC127707

What data we collect and why

Information you provide:

• Your full name and address — to produce your complaint letter
• Your email address — to deliver your document pack and send your 8-week reminder
• Your bank name and account details — to personalise your complaint letter
• Your payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Information we collect automatically:

• Anonymous page view and event data via Fathom Analytics. Fathom does not use cookies, does not track you across websites, and does not collect any personally identifiable information. No cookie consent banner is required.

Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on the basis of contract performance (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR) — the information is necessary to deliver the document drafting service you have purchased.

How we use your data

• To generate your personalised complaint letter
• To email your document pack to you
• To send you an 8-week reminder about your complaint deadline
• To send you follow-up emails about your claim status (you can unsubscribe at any time)

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with claims management companies, marketers, or any third party for commercial purposes.

Who we share data with

Stripe — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data. See stripe.com/privacy.

Resend — transactional email delivery. Your email address is shared with Resend solely to deliver your documents.

Our hosting provider — DigitalOcean. Your data is stored on servers in the European Union.

We do not share your data with your bank or any third party in connection with your complaint. You submit your complaint directly and independently.

How long we keep your data

We retain your intake data and generated documents for 2 years from the date of purchase, to allow us to provide support if needed.

After 2 years, your personal data is deleted. You may request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@claimsdraft.co.uk.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing
• Receive your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@claimsdraft.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We do not use cookies. Our analytics provider (Fathom) is cookieless. No tracking cookies are placed on your device.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update.
